Windsor, PA Gilda M. (Yohe) Blymire 85 passed away peacefully in her home with her children by her side. She was proceeded in death in 2019 by her loving husband Maurice Blymire of 58 years.

Mrs. Blymire was born October 4, 1939, in Red Lion, a daughter of the late Charles H. Sr., and Luzella C. Yohe. She was a former employee of Eastern York School District until her retirement. In her spare time, she enjoyed hunting and fishing and took several trips out west. She enjoyed baking and cooking for others. It was an act of service, one of her primary love languages. She was especially fond of the time spent with family and friends and took great pleasure in time with her children and grandchildren. She spent a lot of time with the family's foster and adopted children over the years and was known as Mammaw to many children across the county. She loved her plants and garden and most recently at 85, she took her first flight with her grandson Levi to visit her daughter, Darla on her birthday which she shares with her. She faithfully attended Springville Free Gospel Church and Prayer Mission and would also attend Hope City church with her daughters. She is now home with Jesus.

Mrs. Blymire is survived by two daughters, Darla Coar and husband, Luke of Murrell's Inlet, SC, and Deanna Salter York, PA, grandchildren, Levi Keenan and Wife Meghan, Felicity Baker, Madison Blymire, Caleb, Justin , Rhys and Genesis Salter and 3 Great Grandchildren Autumn, Lily and Liam.  She was preceded in death by two brothers, Tyrone Yohe Sr. and Charles Henry Yohe Jr.

A viewing will take place on Thursday, January 9th from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown, PA 17313. A funeral service to celebrate Gilda's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 10th at Immanuel Evangelical Free Church, 1140 Witmer Rd., York, PA 17406, with Pastor James Epperly officiating. A viewing will be held at the church on Friday and will begin at 10:00 AM until the start of the funeral service. Interment to follow in Springville Cemetery.
