Grace V. (Orwick) Dietrich, 91 of York passed away peacefully at York South Nursing & Rehab on Wednesday, June 14, 2022.  She was the beloved wife of 71 years to the late Henry C. Dietrich who passed away December 27, 2019.

Born January 30, 1932 in Red Lion, she was a daughter of the late Simon and Elsie (Bahn) Orwick.

Mrs. Dietrich loved gardening and flowers.  She was also a wonderful cook and loved her pets.

Grace is survived by two children: Bradley C. Dietrich and his wife, Beverly of Wrightsville and Donna M. Leik (wife of the late Robert) of York; two grandchildren: Douglas Leik and Brandon Leik, as well as two siblings: Violet Carmen and Donald Orwig.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three siblings: Mae Godfrey, Roger Orwig and Byrd Orwig; her daughter-in-law, Greer Dietrich and her son-in-law, Robert Leik.

A graveside service to celebrate Grace's life will be held on Tuesday, June 20th at 12 noon at Mt. Rose Cemetery; 1502 Mt. Rose Ave. in York with Pastor Ed Zeiders officiating.  Family and friends attending are encouraged to arrive at the cemetery by 11:45am, where cemetery staff will provide an escort to the gravesite.
