Obituary

Grace Flory, 91 of Red Lion passed away peacefully at Seaton Springwood in York on Thursday, July 21, 2022.  She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond C. Flory who passed away September 22, 1976.

Born September 22, 1930 in Dallastown, she was daughter of the late Albert C. and Erma M. (Fillmore) Geesey.

Mrs. Flory is fondly remembered for her love of family, who she enjoyed spending time with most of all.  After many years as a loving homemaker for her family and a babysitter for others, she proudly worked as an assembler in the electronics manufacturing industry. Always busy serving her community, she was a faithful member of Christ Lutheran Church in Dallastown and volunteered with Angel Food Ministries to feed the hungry.  She also enjoyed listening to Christian music and old time hymns.

Grace is survived by 3 children: David B. Flory and his wife, Judy of Dover, PA, Lynne S. Garrison and her husband, William of Red Lion and Carol I. Craven of Red Lion; 6 grandchildren: Allison, Brent, Angela, Shannon, Jeromy and Joshua; 9 great-grandchildren: Hailey, Connor, Hannah, Hunter, Laci, Gabriel, Ethan, Emma and Mitchell; her brother, Bruce Geesey, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 daughters: Brenda I. Burk and Lois A. Witmer and her brother, Charles Geesey.

A funeral service to celebrate Grace's life will be held at 11am on Wednesday, July 27 th at Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc.; 104 W. Main St. in Dallastown with Chaplain Rey Villarreal officiating.  Interment will follow in Dallastown Union Cemetery.  A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will also be on Wednesday at the funeral home from 10am until the start of the service.
