Hildred O. Phillips, 96 of Windsor, passed away at her residence on Monday, June 18.  She was the wife of the late John F. Phillips.

Mrs. Phillips was born in Dallastown on June 26, 1921 and was the daughter of the late McKinley L. and Margie E. (Hildebrand) Dellinger.

Hildred worked as a wood worker for Merchant's Box Factory in Dallastown, retiring after 40 years of service. She was a member of Antioch 1611 Baptist Church. Hildred had an extensive card ministry and enjoyed sending greeting cards to friends and family when she felt they were in need. She loved animals and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Hildred is survived by her two children, Patricia Grimm and her husband Ray of Windsor and John Phillips, Jr. and his wife Beth of Dallastown; two grandchildren, Gary T. Grimm and Chad S. Grimm; 7 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson, Andrew Grimm and her brother, Russell Dellinger.

A viewing will take place on Thursday, June 21 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, 104 W. Main St., Dallastown and then again at the funeral home on Friday, June 22 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Hildred's name to Animal Rescue, Inc., 2 Heritage Farm Dr., New Freedom, PA 17349 or to Memorial White Rose Home Health and  Hospice, 1412 6 th Ave., York, PA, 17403.
