Hollis Ann (Eyler) Byrne, 79, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, October 25, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Peter E. Byrne, with whom she shared over 40 wonderful years of marriage.

She is survived by her son, John H. Riedel III; stepdaughters, Christine Carlstead and her husband Andy, and Kathleen Byrne; and stepson, Sean Byrne. She was a proud grandmother to nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Hollis is also survived by her sister, Ellen Waltemire.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Denise M. (Riedel) Brown, and three siblings: William Eyler, Maurice Wagner, and Susan Schmidt.

A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown, PA 17313. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM, with interment to follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
