Obituary

Irene M. (Innerst) Eberly, 91 of York Township, passed away peacefully at WellSpan York Hospital on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Enos C. Eberly.

Mrs. Eberly was born in Dallastown on March 16, 1933 and was the daughter of the late H. Edwin and Harriet (Raab) Innerst.

Irene was a dedicated and loving homemaker. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends and doing arts and crafts, especially scrapbooking. Mostly she enjoyed spending time with her family and with her dear friends at Country Meadows.

She is survived by her two sons, Steve Eberly and Barry Eberly and his wife Pam; three granddaughters, Alisha Good and her husband Pat, Jocelyn Myers and her husband Jarrod, and Shannon Berwager and her husband Jason.  She is also survived by her 9 great grandchildren; siblings, Fred Innerst and Ann Leedy, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth Lehr, Virginia Striebig and brothers, Pete Innerst and Jay Innerst.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at St. John's United Church of Christ, 1009 Blymire Rd., Dallastown, PA 17313. A visitation with the family will be held at the church on Sunday and will begin at 1:30 PM to the start of the service. Interment will be private.
