Obituary

Janet Louise (Frey) Fuller, 80, of Dallastown, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 1, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Floyd E. Fuller, who passed away November 12, 1981.

Mrs. Fuller was born October 20, 1941 in Dallastown and was the daughter of the late Roy and Ellen (Urey) Frey.

Janet is survived by her children, Wendy Pichler and her husband Joe, of Dallastown and Roger Fuller of Yoe. She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Joe Pichler, Jr. and Heather Butcher; as well as four great grandchildren, Carter and Paige Butcher and Haley and Khylee Pichler. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Dellinger and a grandson, Robert Pichler.

Janet graduated in 1959 from Dallastown High School. She retired from the former House of Windsor Cigar Factory. Prior to working at the House of Windsor, she worked several jobs doing her passion of cooking, including at the former Woolworths lunch counter where she was the manager and Knaubs Cake and Deli Haus. She also worked as a preschool aid at Bethlehem United Methodist Church Pre School.

Janet was a lifelong, loyal member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church Dallastown, holding many volunteer positions in the church. She was also a life member of the former Rescue Fire Company, Dallastown and a life member of the ladies auxiliary, where she served as secretary for more than 40 years.

A viewing will take place on Thursday, October 6 th from 6:00 – 8:30 PM, at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, 104 W. Main St., Dallastown and on Friday, October 7 th from 10:00 -11:00 AM at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 109 E. Main St., Dallastown, A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM at the church, with the Rev. David Stough officiating. Burial will follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Janet's name to Bethlehem United Methodist Church at the address listed above.
