Janet M. (Keener) Ramsay, 82, passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, April 25, 2022. She was the beloved wife of Hugh W. Ramsay.

Mrs. Ramsay was born in Jacobus on October 4, 1939 and was the daughter of the late Clayton and Grace (Smith) Keener.

Janet worked in various administration positions for Rest Haven-York, retiring in 1994. Following her retirement, she helped to provide care and raise her two granddaughters, something she was very proud of.  Janet loved to garden and had an affection for cats. She had a passion for antiques and interior design.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Scott H. Ramsay and his wife Anne M., of York; her two granddaughters, Caitlin M. Leaman and her husband David, of York, and Grace E. Ramsay of York. She is also survived by her great grandson, Clayton Leaman and a brother, Bradley Keener and his wife Debbie, of Cherry Springs.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Valerie L. Ramsay and a brother, Richard Keener.

A viewing for Janet will be held at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc, 104 W Main St., Dallastown on Saturday, April 30 ^th , beginning at noon until the start of the service. A funeral service to honor Janet's life will be held at the funeral home on Saturday and will begin at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Kevin Becker officiating. Interment to follow in Salem Union Cemetery.
