Janice M. (Reachard) Eveler, 81, of Felton, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Nevin E. Eveler, who preceded her in death in 2020.

Born in York, Pennsylvania, on June 20, 1944, Janice was the daughter of the late James Reachard and Isabel (Eberly) Reachard.

Janice is survived by her two sons, James L. Eveler and his wife, Wanda, and Todd E. Eveler and his wife, Cathy; and by her cherished grandsons, Zachary J. Eveler and Jake E. Eveler, who brought her endless joy. She is also survived by her sister, Joanne Hershner, and many special friends who enriched her life.

Janice had a lifelong love of horses and spent many happy years riding and caring for them. She also enjoyed reading, gardening, and traveling to the beach, where she found peace and relaxation. Above all, Janice was devoted to her family—especially her grandsons—whose lives she filled with love, warmth, and guidance.

A memorial service to celebrate the lives of both Janice and Nevin will be held at Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday, November 14, 2025, beginning at 11:00 AM. A visitation with the family will take place at the funeral home prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private.
