Obituary

Jean E. (Snyder) Paules, 90 of York Township, passed away peacefully at Colonial Manor on Monday, April 12 th . She was the beloved wife of Charles E. Paules. The couple would have celebrated their 70 th wedding anniversary on June 13, 2021.

Mrs. Paules was born in Adamsville on January 13, 1931 and was the daughter of the late George W. and Pauline (Stump) Snyder.

Jean was a candy packer for the former York Cone, now Hershey Foods, where she was proud to help make York Peppermint Patties. She was also a 62 year member of Spry Church. Jean was a dedicated wife and mother who took pride in keeping a clean and well-maintained household.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two daughters, Linda E. Lehman and her husband Edward, and Beth Paules; grandchildren, Lisa Schaffer, Bethany Kelly and Heather Allison and their spouses; great grandchildren, Grant Kelly, McGraw Lehman, Chancellor Lehman, Taylor Schaffer, Tyler Schaffer and Harper Allison. She is also survived by her brothers, Phil Snyder and his wife Sylvia and Jerry Snyder and his wife Fran, as well as nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant grandson.

A private service was held by the family at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc. Contributions in Jean's name can be made to the Dementia Society of America.
