Obituary

Jeanette "Jean" L. (Coon) Lewis, 65 of Windsor Township, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 19 th at her residence. She was the beloved wife of Bradford E. Lewis.

Mrs. Lewis was born in York on March 25, 1955 and was the daughter of the late Daniel G. and Janet V. (Snyder) Coon.

Jeanette loved the Lord Jesus with all her heart and soul, as well as her family and others.

She was a 1973 graduate of York VoTech and worked for Weis Markets at stores #92 and #173 for 36 years, retiring in February of this year.  She loved to cook and read and spent the majority of time in the Lord's Word.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two children Jesse Lewis and Rachael Frey. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tori Mumpower, Kiera Sostack and Ava Frey; two sisters, Diane Minnich and Lynn Smith and her husband Stephen; brother, Thomas Coon and his wife Melissa, as well as her sisters-in-law, Tina Roseberry and husband Barry and Helena Mitzel and her husband Greg. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Brian and Daniel Coon.

A service to honor Jean's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 24, at The Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown, with Pastor Jim Quoss officiating.  A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday and will begin at 10:00 AM until the start of the service. Interment to follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
