Jeanne Hineline, 92, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2025. She was the loving wife of the late Wilmer E. Hineline and the cherished daughter of the late Warring V. Foster and Margaret M. (Ferk) Foster.

A longtime and devoted member of Christ Lutheran Church of Spry, Jeanne faithfully supported many church activities throughout the years. Her strong faith and loving spirit touched many in her congregation and community. Outside of her church involvement, she enjoyed playing mahjong with her friends and found great joy in travel, having visited all 50 U.S. states and many places around the world.

Jeanne was known for her classic sense of style, always dressed in a lovely outfit, complete with jewelry and makeup. She took pride in her appearance and carried herself with elegance and warmth.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Barley, and her husband Steve; her grandchildren Shendie, Shelby, Jamie, and Jared; eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Jerry Foster, and his wife Sandra; and her stepchildren, Ruth Fisher and Robert Hineline.

In addition to her husband, Jeanne was preceded in death by her siblings, Warren and Peggy, and her sister-in-law, Claire.

A service to celebrate Jeanne will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at 11:00 A.M at the Christ Lutheran Church of Spry with Rev. James Polanzke officiating. A viewing will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the start of the service. Interment will follow at the Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.

In accordance with Jeanne's wishes, memorial contributions can be made to Christ Lutheran Church of Spry in lieu of flowers.
