Jeannine E. (Kohler) Knisely of Felton, passed away six days before her 74 ^th birthday on Thursday, March 18 ^th at WellSpan York Hospital, after her two year battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Charles E. Knisely. The couple would have celebrated 50 years of marriage this September.

Mrs. Knisely was born in York on March 24, 1947 and was the daughter of the late Chester and Elva (Stabley) Kohler.

Jeannine was a graduate of Kennard - Dale High School. For most of her life she assisted her father with his garage, doing various tasks, from service work on cars to the bookkeeping. She was a long time member of Prayer Mission Church, where she also taught Sunday school.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Reynold Hall.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 24th at the  Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown, with the Rev. Levere S. Crawford officiating. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday and will begin at 1:00 PM until the start of the service.  Burial to follow in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery.  All attendees are required to wear masks and practice social distancing.

The family would like to thank the visiting nurses, WellSpan York Hospital's doctors, nurses and social workers for their care and support during Jeannine's illness.

The family asks contributions in Jeannine's name be made to the American Cancer Society.
