Jeffrey "Hoagie" L. Hoachlander, 58 of York, passed away at WellSpan York Hospital on Saturday, July 23, 2022. He was the beloved husband of the late Donna M. (Terrell) Hoachlander. The couple were married for more than 36 years until her passing in 2020.

Mr. Hoachlander was born in York on July 15, 1964 and was the son of the late Russell C. Hoachlander, Jr. and Nancy J. (Markle) Hoachlander.

Hoagie proudly served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. For most of his life he worked for Pennex Aluminum, where he was lead foreman.  He loved riding and restoring Harley Davidson motorcycles and going on family vacations to the beach. Most of all Hoagie enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren, who he truly adored.

Hoagie is survived by his two children; daughter, Antoinette "Annie" M. Miller and her husband Kevin, of Spring Grove and son, Jeffrey D. Hoachlander and his wife Misty, of Dover. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Arielle, Ava, Alivia, Carson and Merrick; as well as his sister, Elizabeth "Betsy" Hoachlander and nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, a memorial service will begin at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 29 at St. James Lutheran Church, 25 N. Adams St., West York, PA 17404. Interment will be private.
