Jefre S.
Sechrist
Jul 21, 1961 — Apr 25, 2024
Jefre S. Sechrist, fondly known as Bo, passed away unexpectedly at his daughter's home where he lived in Jacobus, PA on April 25th. He was born July 21, 1961, in York, PA to the late Stanley C. and Charlotte C. Sechrist of Winterstown PA.
He left behind his 5 children, Amy Schmidt of Jacobus PA, Chris Sechrist and wife Jessica of York PA, Jefre Sechrist of Austin TX, Missy Tice and husband Rockie of Wrightsville PA and Jessica Sechrist and fiancé TJ Stinebaugh of Red Lion PA. He is proceeded in death by his 2 son-in-law's Adam Thomas and Jason Schmidt both of Jacobus PA. Also missing him dearly is his faithful canine best friend, Potsie, his loyal companion who never left his side. He is also survived by his 2 sisters Kim Gunder of Red Lion PA and Stacey Gibbs and husband Tim of Hellam PA, 7 nieces and nephews and Connie Loop of Wrightsville PA.
Jeff graduated from Red Lion High School in 1979. He then married his former spouse and mother of his 5 children Tammy (Smith) Shilke of Dallastown PA. He was the proud Pappy of 18 grandkids, 9 granddaughters and 9 grandsons. He worked construction and masonry and was self-employed, Bo's Get-R-Done.
Bo grew up on country, country rock and blues. He played in his dad's band The Rejections in the 1970s and then started The Country Hustler Band in 1980 later, changing the name to The Hustler Band about 1988. Aside from his love of singing and playing the guitar, he enjoyed riding his Harley, playing pool, darts, and horseshoes and spending time with family and friends.
While he left us too soon, he will never be forgotten by many. Bo was the life of the party, had a contagious laugh that you could never forget and was known just about anywhere he'd go.
His Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, July 27th at Lake Clarke Rescue in Wrightsville 2-7 for family and friends to come and remember Bo.
