Jimmy G. Hammond II passed away unexpectedly on November 27, 2024, in Dallastown, Pennsylvania, at the age of 39. Born October 17, 1985, in Charleston, South Carolina, Jimmy was the son of Karen J. Reedy and Mark A. Hammond.

Jimmy was a dedicated and passionate individual who found joy in both his work and his personal pursuits. He spent many years working in tech support at Comcast, where his patience, expertise, and commitment to helping others made him a valued member of the team. Jimmy was known for his friendly nature and the care he gave to every customer.

Outside of work, he had a deep love for video games, often spending hours immersed in new worlds and challenges. He enjoyed connecting with friends and fellow gamers, sharing in the camaraderie that only the gaming community can provide. His sense of humor, quick wit, and love for technology were core aspects of his character.

Jimmy is survived by his parents, Karen J. Reedy and Mark A. Hammond, his uncle, Edward Reedy and his cherished best friend, who was more like a brother to Jimmy, Ryan Allik.

A memorial service will be held in Jimmy's honor on January 3, 2024, at 3:00 PM at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc. in Dallastown with Pastor Kim Strickland officiating.
