JoAnn (Kell) Wrights, 83 of Springettsbury Township, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 5 at her residence. She was the beloved wife of the late Stewart E. Wrights and companion of the late William Nugent.

Mrs. Wrights was born in York on June 9, 1934 and was the daughter of the late John H. and Mary E. (Cantler) Kell.

JoAnn was a dedicated homemaker and mother. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Dallastown for more than 50 years. She was past president of the York City Woman's Democratic Club and also volunteered at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. JoAnn enjoyed cooking, doing crafts and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Debra Frank and her husband Brent of York, Steven E. Wrights and his companion Kim Lyle of York and LuAnn Mylin and her husband Bradley of York. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Chad Barshinger, Jillian Ropp and Bradley Mylin, II; great grandchildren, Logan and Quinn Barshinger; step grandchildren, Bryston and Braden Frank and two brothers.

A service to honor JoAnn's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 11, at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown.  A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday and will begin at 1:00 PM until the start of the service. Interment to follow in Dallastown Union Cemetery.
