John B. Snyder, Jr., 93 of Dallastown passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 29 at Manor Care – Dallastown. He was the beloved husband of the late Marthamary G.(Smith) Snyder

John was born in Yoe on March 26, 1925 and was the son of the late John B. and Sarah (Eberly) Snyder.

John was a graduate of Red Lion High School. He was a veteran of World War II, proudly serving in the United States Army. He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed following the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Yankees.

He is survived by his five children; Debra A. Oswalt and her husband Gary, Donna M. Leader, Dixie L. Snyder, Jon B. Snyder and his wife Brenda and Darla S. Snyder.  He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his two sisters and brother.

Services are private and at the discretion of the family.
