Judy A. (Hartman) Keeports, 75 of Jacobus, passed away at WellSpan York Hospital on Tuesday, July 12th. She was the loving wife of 54 years to Stephen S. Keeports.

Mrs. Keeports was born in York on June 10, 1947 and was the daughter of the late Leo V. and Vera J. (Fink) Hartman.

Judy was a beloved and respected first grade teacher for the Red Lion School District, retiring in 2004 after 33 years of service. She enjoyed listening to music, going to movies and traveling, especially taking trips to the Caribbean and Disney World. Judy loved spending time with her family and friends, and during the hot summer days, could often be found poolside with them. She was a member of the Salem Christian Church. Judy will be remembered as a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, teacher and friend.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Stacy Henise and her husband George, of Red Lion, and her son, S. Todd Keeports, of Eugene Oregon. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Stephen Henise, Logan Henise, Sara Henise, Justine Keeports, Cameron Leiphart and Heather Hogan. She was preceded in death by her brother, Dean Hartman.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday, August 8th at Salem Christian Church, 24 Franklin St., Jacobus, PA 17407, with the Rev. Kevin Becker officiating. A luncheon will follow the memorial service.
