June Irene (Frey) Sipe, who loved to be called "Junebug" or "Junie", departed her loving and adoring family on Monday, August 22 ^nd . She was 74 years old.

Mrs. Sipe was born on September 24, 1947 in York and grew up in Stewartstown. She was the daughter of the late Ernest E. and Mae E. (McPherson) Frey.

June was an amazing server at the Holiday Inn, where she won numerous employee service awards. Family was everything to June and she would often worry about her children. Calling every few days and asking if "they were home safe."  She will be deeply missed by them.

She is survived by her two children, Terry M. Longo and her husband Steve and Richard E. Sipe and his wife Dixie. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Tyler and Corey Sipe, Christopher Longo and Brooke Sipe; as well as her great grandson, Kadyn Sipe. The other love of her life was Robert "Pappy" Myers. The couple were together for 46 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert E. Frey and her two sisters, Betty M. Almony and Bertha A. McCallister.

Following cremation, a Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 17 at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St. Dallastown, with pastor Eddie Miller officiating. A visitation with the family will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, and will begin at Noon until the start of the service. Interment will be private.

The family would like to thank her niece, Nettie Delozier, who visited her often. They would also like to thank her hospice nurse, Ashley and her senior helpers, Christie and Jennifer; as well as the nurses at ProMedica.
