Karen K. (Sprenkle) Miller passed away at her home in Dallastown, PA on Friday, January 14, 2022, at the age of 78 after a long battle with cancer.  She was the beloved wife of William J. (Bill) Miller who remained by her side until her passing.

Karen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, mother-in-law, and friend who was generous in taking care of and spending time with family and friends.  In addition to her husband Bill, Karen is survived by her children – Elizabeth (McDaniel) Mitzel and her late husband Gregory of Felton, James McDaniel of Hellam, Jennifer (Miller) Mattheu and her husband Glen of Glen Rock, Bobbi Jo (Miller) Knorr and her husband, Scott, of Doylestown; her siblings – the late Elden Sprenkle and wife Andrea, Keith Sprenkle and wife Sue, Dwight Sprenkle, and the late Anita Sprenkle; and her grandchildren – Dalton Mitzel and his wife Katelin, Macallan Mattheu, Alexa Knorr, and Kyle Knorr; as well as other loving family members.

Born in Dallastown, PA on May 19, 1943, Karen was the daughter of the late Sherman Sprenkle and Ida (Kauffman) Sprenkle.  She is the second of 5 children and graduated from Dallastown high school in 1961.  Karen was married to her loving husband Bill Miller on December 28, 1963 in Loganville, PA.  In addition to her children, Karen provided loving care to her sister Anita Sprenkle, who was born with down syndrome, until her passing in December of 2002.  Karen will also be remembered for her quick wit, baking skills, and love for Christmas.  It was not uncommon to see multiple Christmas trees around the house from November to March, even longer some years.

A service to celebrate Karen's life will be held on Friday May 6th at Praise Community Church, 705 S. Ogontz St., York PA., at 7:00PM with Pastor Adam Bower officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00PM until the start of the service. Interment Private.
