Kathleen L. (Zuray) Guise, 85, of Lutherville-Timonium, MD, formerly of York, PA, passed away peacefully at the University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center.

Born on September 19, 1940, in Heilwood, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Zuray and Katherine (Mariskanish) Zuray.

Kathleen was the beloved wife of Donald Lee Guise, with whom she shared a devoted and loving marriage of 63 years.

Kathleen spent many years working as a travel manager for York Bank Travel, a fitting profession for someone whose passion for exploring the world was woven deeply into her life. She traveled extensively, enjoying countless cruises and journeys to destinations across the globe. Of all the places she visited, Austria held a special place in her heart.

Family was the center of Kathleen's world. She was truly the keystone of her family, supportive and lovingly involved in the lives of those she cherished. She especially treasured the time she spent with her niece and grandniece and nephew. Kathleen also held a deep interest in genealogy, embracing her heritage and delighting in tracing the stories and connections that shaped her family's history.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sisters, Christina Zuray Poe and Joan Faber, as well as her beloved niece and her children. She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph J. Zuray.

A private burial service will be held by the family, with a Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date.
