Kathleen "Kay" Loretta (Leathery) Snyder, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 12th at ProMedica Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation (Kingston Court) at the age of 101. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard W. Snyder. The couple celebrated over 54 years of marriage until his passing on July 26, 2018.

Mrs. Snyder was born in East Berlin, PA on November 24, 1920 and was the daughter of the late Carmon R. Leathery and Sarah E. (Thoman) Leathery.

She is survived by her three sons, Donald, Dalen, Daryl and their wives; as well as her step son, Garry Snyder. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Carmon Leathery.

A viewing for Kay will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 10:00 -11:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2100 Hollywood Dr., York, PA 17403. A funeral service will follow the viewing and will begin at 11:00 AM, with Bishop Terry Trusty officiating. Burial will follow in Dallastown Union Cemetery.
