Kenneth B. Chronister, 78 of Etters passed away peacefully on August 18, 2018 at home.

Born February 29, 1940, he was a son of the late Edwin W. and Naomi (Deahoff) Chronister.

Kenneth loved spending time with family and enjoying his hobbies, which included Dirt Track Racing, Go-Karts, fishing and hunting.

He is survived by 3 daughters: Lisa C. Thomas and her husband, Tommy of Etters, Lori A. Cooper and her husband, Randy of Dover and Della M. Betz of York and their mother, Doris M. Chronister; 1 sister, Ruthie Adams and her husband, Don of Dover; 3 grandchildren: Brtittany . Moody, Jarrod M. Thomas and Dylan E. Betz and 1 great-granddaughter, Maleah A. Thomas.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

A funeral service to celebrate Kenneth's life will be held on Wednesday, August 22 nd at 2pm at New Fairview Church of the Brethren; 1873 New Fairview Church Rd. in York with Rev. Paul Bentzel officiating. A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will also be on Wednesday from 1pm until the time of the service at the church. Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.
