Kenneth "Ken" May, 66, of Dallastown, Pennsylvania, passed away on April 23, 2026, with his daughter Courtney Roop and dear companion Donna Lecrone by his side.

Born April 1, 1960, in New Brunswick, New Jersey, Ken spent his entire career as an industrial controls technician at Peach Bottom — a testament to the steady, hardworking man he was. He poured that same dedication into the things he loved: metalworking, woodworking, tinkering with electronics, cooking, fishing, and the years he spent building a boat with his own two hands. He had a sharp mind for cards, with a particular love for blackjack, and a fondness for classic old films. He also found quiet joy in driving around town and out to Lake Redman, taking in the day.

Ken's family was his whole world. He was a man of few demands and quiet generosity, who never wanted to be a burden to anyone and showed his love through the steady, dependable work of looking after the people he cared about.

Ken is survived by his son, Jason May, and his wife, Dominique Ingoglia; his daughter, Courtney Roop, and her husband, Daniel Roop; his grandson, Jacob Roop; his parents, Sheldon and Margaret May; his brother, Robert May; his sisters, Carolyn Drum and Melinda Mouw; and his dear companion, Donna Lecrone.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 12:00 P.M. at Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main Street, Dallastown, Pennsylvania. A viewing will be held prior beginning at 11:00 A.M. until the start of the service.
