Obituary

Lana C. (Palmer) Henry, 82, of Loganville, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025, at the Pappus House. She was the beloved wife of Wilson E. Henry, Jr., with whom she shared 49 years of marriage.

Born in Gettysburg on June 3, 1943, Lana was the daughter of the late Victor A. Palmer and Hannah C. (Heare) Palmer. She was a 1962 graduate of Biglerville High School and later retired from AMP, where she dedicated many years of service.

Lana was a longtime member of Chapel Church, where her faith was a steady foundation in her life. She loved spending time outdoors—whether enjoying the mountains, fishing, hiking, walking, bike riding, or tending to her garden. Above all else, Lana cherished time with her family, who were at the heart of everything she did.

She is survived by her son, Lon C. Males; her daughter, Latricia D. Brown; her stepdaughters, Sonia A. Chandlee and her husband Rocky, and Alaina J. Henry and her husband John Morrow; four grandchildren; her sister, Deanna Gomez; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Roxanna Smith.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Chapel Church, 3050 Cape Horn Rd., Red Lion, PA 17356. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Josh Wargo officiating. Burial will take place in Heiland View Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Chapel Church Mortgage Fund at the address above, or to Pappus House, 66 Big Mount Rd., Thomasville, PA 17364.
