Lisbeth Ann (Sechrist) Belknap, 87 of York Township, passed away peacefully at WellSpan York Hospital on November 30, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Harold Porter Belknap, who passed away in 1981.

Mrs. Belknap was born in Dallastown on December 30, 1930 and was the daughter of the late George S. and Anna B. (Williams) Sechrist.

Lisbeth was a 1948 graduate of Dallastown High School and attended York Junior College and graduated from the Katherine Gibbs School in New York City. Throughout her life, she enjoyed horseback riding, playing bridge and reading.

She attended St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church in York and was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post #605 in Dallastown.

Lisbeth was predeceased by her brother, George Sechrist, Jr. and her sisters, Anna Jane Herbst and Lucille S. Keeports. She is survived by her nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
