Lloyd D. Groves, 84, of Dallastown, passed away peacefully at his residence on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Ruth A. (Hare) Groves.

Born on November 4, 1941, in Bedford, PA, Lloyd was the son of the late Harvey and Edith (Goodrich) Groves.

Lloyd spent most of his working life as a truck driver. Throughout his career, he worked for Anchor Motor Freight and Mason-Dixon before retiring from ABF. A hardworking man who enjoyed staying busy, Lloyd was very handy and loved working with his hands, tinkering, and fixing things. In his free time, Lloyd enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was also a longtime member of Windsor Assembly of God. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Ruth, Lloyd is survived by his daughter, Terri L. Klinefelter; his son, Keith D. Groves; three grandsons, Tyler Klinefelter and his wife, Sarah, Tanner Klinefelter and his fiancée, Shianna Thompson, and Travis Klinefelter and his wife, McKayla; and four great-grandchildren, Sofia Haldeman, Brinley Klinefelter, Ridge Klinefelter, and Emersyn Klinefelter.

In addition to his parents, Lloyd was preceded in death by his siblings, Jack Groves, Robert Groves, and Elaine Stough.

A viewing will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown, PA 17313. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Delmas Bard officiating. Burial will follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
