Lloyd L. Smith, 80, passed away at Transitions Healthcare Gettysburg on Saturday, October 28th.

Mr. Smith was born in York on June 27, 1943 and was the son of the late Lloyd A. and Dorcas R. (Shearer) Smith.

Lloyd previously worked as a custodian for York Vocational Schools. He was a former member of the Dallastown Boys and Girls Band, as well as the Felton Band. He enjoyed watching sports, especially baseball, fishing, farming and had an interest in tractors. He also loved going on vacations with his family.

He is survived by his daughter, Peggy Ann Smith and her husband Mike; grand-daughters, Kayla Feninez and Kasey Smith, and his sister, Ruth Flinchbaugh and her husband Dean. He is also survived by his nephew, Joel Flinchbaugh and his wife Kim; niece, Amy Flinchbaugh, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A service to honor Lloyd's life will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown, with the Rev. Ken Loyer officiating.    A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday and will begin at noon until the start of the service. Interment to follow in Otterbein Cemetery at Spry Church.
