Lois E. (Wagner) Ludwig, 83 of Red Lion, peacefully entered her Heavenly Home on Sunday, December 2. She was the beloved wife of Clarence "Click" Ludwig, of which they just celebrated 64 years of marriage.

Mrs. Ludwig was born in Ore Valley on May 25, 1935 and was the daughter of the late William W. and Sara (Wineka) Wagner.

Lois was a 1953 graduate of Red Lion Senior High School and attended Thompson's Business School.

Her first employment was a cook/waitress at Warner's in Red Lion, followed by waitressing at Avalong Dairy Bar.  She then worked at Dentsply, Flinchbaugh Products in Red Lion and then retired from Key Plastics.

Lois was an active member of her community and began her service by becoming the first woman president of the Industrial Management Club of York.  She was a member of the Red Lion Area Women's Club and the Golden Age Chorus, of Dallastown.  She was a lifelong member of Chapel Church and served in many capacities.  Her love of music and singing was fulfilled as a senior choir member and she also helped to start the "Chow-Chow Ministry", which continues to be a favorite in the York County area.

During these years of employment, service and fellowship, Lois formed lifetime friendships and relationships that were a joy to her, including all ages and backgrounds.  She loved spending time with her precious family with her unique gift of making each of us feel special and loved.  Her children were:  Bradley Ludwig and wife, Gaye of Red Lion; Craig Ludwig and wife Donna of Red Lion; Christine Feathers and husband, Robert of Spry.  Eight grandchildren followed and gave Lois and Click many wonderful years of attending school, church and athletic events as well as numerous graduations: Brian Ludwig, April Ludwig, Valerie Ludwig; Michele (Ludwig) Sanborn and husband Brooks, Danielle (Ludwig) Woo and husband Tyler; Anissa (Ludwig) Keesey and husband Ben; Amy (Feathers) McCarthy and husband, Kerry`; and John Feathers.  The Lord continued to bless their family with great-grandchildren beginning with Cambria Sanborn, Kai Sanborn, Grayden Keesey, Adelyn Keesey, Cedar Keesey, Lydia McCarthy and Tyler "TJ" Woo.  In addition she is survived by her siblings,  Fae Keeney,  Linda Coons and husband Rich, June Meyers, and husband Joe, Ed Wagner, and wife May, Karen Wagner, John Wagner, and wife Brenda; brother-in-law, Nelson Brenneman; and sister-in-law, Karen (Ramsey) Wagner.  Lois and Click also had numerous nieces, nephews and cousins that completed her life and brought her much joy.  She was preceded in death by four siblings, Judy Brenneman, Nada Schroder, Betty Warner and William Wagner.

Lois will be remembered most for her gift of hospitality, which included welcoming people in her home, preparing and sharing meals and pies, as well as planning and participating in outings with joy, laughter and thoughtfulness.  She was an encourager in her circle of family and friends and lived daily to be a positive influence to those around her, sharing her lifetime of experiences and her love of the Lord.

A viewing will be held on Friday, December 7 ^th , from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Chapel Church, 3050 Cape Horn Rd., Red Lion, PA 17356 and again at the church on Saturday, December 8 ^th from 10:00 – 11:00 AM., with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM, the Rev. Brendan Hock officiating. Interment will follow in Heiland View Cemetery.
