Lola I. (Keener) Jacobs, 96, of York Township, passed away at Country Meadows of York – South on Wednesday, September 29 ^th . She was the wife of the late Paul A. Jacobs, Jr.

Mrs. Jacobs was born in York on January 3, 1925 and was the daughter of the late Levi and Dora (Dise) Keener.

Lola was a talented seamstress and retired from Danskin in 1987. She was a lifelong member of Salem Luteran Church of Jacobus where she was a faithful member and also enjoyed quilting with the "Cover Girls."  She also loved traveling with her sister-in-law, Theda.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen Miller and her husband Larry, of Red Lion and her son, Larry Jacobs and his wife Susan, of York. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jason Miller and his wife Shallan, Darren Miller, Lindsey Meyer and her husband Matt and Hayley Malloy and her husband Brett; great grandchildren, Griffin Miller, Delaney Miller, Becca Meyer, Deacon Meyer, Daxton Meyer, Elodie Malloy, Milo Malloy and Bennett Malloy. She is survived by a brother, Preston Keener and predeceased by her sisters, Lorie Barshinger, and Romaine Schaefer, and brothers, Millard Keener, Merle Keener and Carl Keener.

A service to honor Lola's life will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, October 4th at The Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown, with Pastor Tina Minnich officiating.  A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Monday and will begin at noon until the start of the service. Interment to follow in Salem Lutheran Cemetery. The family asks that those attending the services to please wear a mask.
