Lori A. (Flinchbaugh) Ferree, 45 of Red Lion, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her residence on Thursday, December 13 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife and soulmate of Brian L. Ferree, II.

Mrs. Ferree was born in York on June 15, 1973 and was the daughter of John A. Flinchbaugh and his wife Irene of Port St. Lucie, FL and Bonnie J. (Howard) Matthews and her husband Les of Stewartstown.

Lori was a graduate of the York County School of Technology. She and her husband served in ministry for many years, where she tirelessly strived to make those around her feel welcomed and loved. After moving back to the Red Lion area Lori worked as a para professional for the Red Lion School District. Her career enabled her to serve in many of the district's schools where she was loved by both staff and students. Lori was a member of the Red Lion Bible Church and will be remembered as a gracious, kind and compassionate pastor's wife and a loving and devoted mother.

In addition to her husband and parents, Lori is survived by her three children, Andrew Ferree and his wife Stephanie of El Paso, TX, Lauren Ferree who is active duty Army and Joshua Ferree of Red Lion. She is also survived by her grandson, Isaac Ferree; brother, Jeremy Flinchbaugh of Hagerstown, MD; grandmother, Norma Howard of New Bridgeville; sisters, Penny Trout of Dallastown and Jessica Matthews of Myrtle Beach, SC; as well as numerous extended family and dear friends. She was predeceased by a sister, Kellie Matthews Sweitzer.

A funeral service to honor Lori's life will be held at noon on Wednesday, December 19 at Red Lion Bible Church, 105 Springvale Rd., Red Lion, 17356, with Pastor Steve A. Schmuck officiating. A visitation with the family will be held at the church on Wednesday and will begin at 10:00 AM until the start of the service. Interment will follow in the Red Lion Cemetery.
