Lorraine E. (Stump) Repman, 86, of Dallastown, formerly of Windsor, passed away at WellSpan York Hospital on Wednesday, June 5, 2024.

Lorraine was born in York Township on May 24, 1938 and was the daughter of the late Ralph L. and Jenny I. (Falkenroth) Stump.

Lorraine was a 1956 graduate of William Penn High School. Her very first job was picking tomatoes for a neighbor when she was young. She also worked as a clerk at Grant's Department Store at the York County Shopping Center, Cole's as a cabinet maker, Standard Register and then in 1969 began working at York Container, where she remained for 32 years, retiring in 2002. Lorraine was a member of Arlington Evangelical Congregational Church in Red Lion and attended Sunday School there. She enjoyed bowling and bowled in leagues in her. younger days, playing cards, doing crosswords, reading and writing notes. She also enjoyed going to bluegrass concerts and spending time with family.

She is survived by her son, Timothy L. Repman and his wife Jan, of Etters; son-in-law, Tim Knisely of Dallastown; grandchildren, Derek Knisely and his wife Megan and Clayton Knisely and family; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Laurie Repman Knisely and her two sisters, Arlene Filmore and Norma Jean Smeltzer.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 15th at Arlington Evangelical Congregational Church, 585 Lombard Rd., Red Lion, PA 17356, with the Rev. Doug Evans officiating. A visitation with the family will be held at the church on Saturday, beginning at 10:00 AM until the start of the memorial service. Burial will follow in Windsor Cemetery.
