Louise E. (Flinchbaugh) Lauer, 95 of Dallastown died July 11, 2018 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Maurice W. Lauer who passed away in 2004.

Born October 19, 1922 in Dallastown, she was the daughter of the late Charles F. and Mary (Jackson) Flinchbaugh. Mrs. Lauer was a 1940 graduate of Dallastown High School and a 1942 graduate of Thompson Business College.  She retired as a secretary from Federal Cigar Co., Red Lion in 1962.  She was also a life member of the Red Lion Rainbow Chapter of Eastern Star, Dallastown Golden Age Club and Colonial York Knitters Guild.

She is survived by nieces and nephews and was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother: Pauline Stiles, Olive Holtzapple and Jacob Flinchbaugh.

There will be no viewing. A funeral service to celebrate Louise's life will be held on Saturday, July 14 ^th at 11am at Christ Lutheran Church; 126 W. Main St., Dallastown, PA 17313 with Pastor Patti Bream officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church from 10am until the start of the service.  Arrangements are under the direction of Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Dallastown.  Interment will follow in St. John's Blymire's Cemetery in Dallastown.
