Lorraine "Lori" (Bowden) Schwartzkopf passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at the age of 71 years old after a long battle with
cancer. She was the beloved wife of Paul B. Schwartzkopf, who remained by her side until her passing.


Lori was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, mother-in-law and friend. She loved spending time with her family, especially her newest role as "Nana" to her grandson, Everett. In addition to her husband Paul, Lori is survived by her daughter, Jessica, her husband, Eric, and their son Everett (1) of Charleston, SC; her siblings – Edmond Bowden of Raleigh, NC, Charles Bowden and his wife, Jeanette Bowden, of Lewes, DE and Chris Bowden, her husband, Brad Bass, and their son, Natan Bowden of Mississauga, Canada; and many other loving family members. Lori is also survived by her beloved pets and grandpets, Calvin and Chloe, Leah and Lucas and Heidi.


Lori was born in Seaford, Delaware on April 5, 1947 to her parents, Ronald Francis Bowden and Marie Antoinette (Gambs) Bowden. She is the oldest of four children. She graduated from Seaford High School in 1965, and from the Lankenau Hospital School of Nursing in 1968. Lori provided care to others through many different types of nursing. She also never met an animal that she didn't love. She enjoyed cross-stitching and crocheting pieces for loved ones and those in need. Lori was married to her loving husband, Paul Schwartzkopf, on May 30, 1981 in Georgetown, DE.
Lori will be lovingly and forever remembered by so many.


A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, September 29 th at 12 noon at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home; 104 W. Main St., Dallastown with Pastor Kurt Weber officiating. A time to gather and share memories will also be on Saturday from 11 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
