Mae L. Blessing, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 29, 2017 at Autumn House East in York. She was the beloved wife of 60 years to the late Donald E. Blessing, who passed away May 27, 2009.

Born May 30, 1931 in York, she was a daughter of the late William H. and Emma E. (Hilt) Emenheiser.

Mae was very active at Yorkshire United Methodist Church. She also enjoyed the beach, gardening, travel and loved to entertain her friends and family, especially her grandchildren and great- grandchildren, whom she especially cherished.

Mae is survived by her 3 children: Patricia Hoffman and her husband, Darrell of Spring Grove, Randy Blessing and his wife, Kelly of York and Lonny Blessing and his wife, Sharon of Ellicott City, MD. She is also survived by her brother, James Emenheiser and his wife, Hazel of Dallastown, as well as 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mae was preceded in death by her 3 brothers: Robert, Jack and Billy Emenheiser.

A graveside committal service will be held at 9:30 am on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Heiland View Cemetery; 3050 Cape Horn Road, Red Lion followed by a memorial service to celebrate the life of Mae L. Blessing at 11:00 am at Yorkshire United Methodist Church; 125 Edgewood Road; York, PA
