Mark A. Williamson, 67, of Red Lion, passed away Monday, November 27, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family.  He was the husband of Gail M. (Overmiller) Williamson, Red Lion; together they shared 24 years of marriage.

Born March 13, 1956 in Kingsport, TN, he was the son of the late Fred and Louetta (Greer) Williamson.

Mark was a heavy equipment mechanic and later a heavy equipment operator for Vulcan Materials Company, retiring in 2021.  He was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church, Port Deposit, MD and enjoyed hunting.  Mark's greatest joy was riding with his wife on their Harleys and in 2005 they took a one month ride cross country.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Emmy Lou Williamson, Quarryville, PA, Loni Dupont and husband Bruce, Red Lion and Lynn Ruby, York; sisters, Carol Ann Singleton, Rising Sun, MD, Penny Styer and husband Ron, Rising Sun, MD, Pam Hess, Rising Sun, MD, and Sherry Ellis, Carlisle, PA and grandchildren, Ethan, Dexter, Makenna, Seth, Wesley, and Cooper.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Williamson.

There will be a celebration of life for Mr. Williamson held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 4, 2023 at Pleasant View Baptist Church, 150 Downin Lane, Port Deposit MD 21904.
