Obituary

Marlene N. (Baughman) Cooper, 84 formerly of Dallastown, passed away on Saturday, February 19 th at Misericordia Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Melvin R. Cooper.

Mrs. Cooper was born in Dallastown on August 18, 1937 and was the daughter of the late Charles D. and Mildred G. (Hildebrand) Baughman.

Marlene was a graduate of Dallastown High School and worked in retail for most of her life, retiring from Mailman's Department Store after many years of service, where she was a clerk in the men's department. She loved going camping with family, as well as doing cross stitch and ceramics.

She is survived by her sons, Randall R. Kauffman and his wife Beth, of Mont Clare, and Ronald R. Kauffman and his wife Linda, of Dallastown; step children, Tara Cooper and her companion Linda Leber, of Red Lion, Todd Cooper and his husband Art Davis, of Rehoboth Beach, DE, and Tamara Cooper, of Lucama, NC.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Colin Kauffman and his wife Lauren, of Phoenixville,   Kerry Kauffman and her fiance' Alex Aten, of West Chester,  Emily Kauffman, of Dallastown, Zachary Kauffman and his wife Katelynn, of McKeesport; step-grandchildren, Megan Farling and her husband Clyde, of Camp Hill and Nicole Cooper, also of Camp Hill; great grandchildren, Lucas Kauffman, Ellie Farling and Claire Farling.

A service to honor Marlene's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 1 st at The Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown, with Jim Heindel officiating.  A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday and will begin at 10:00 AM until the start of the service. Interment to follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
