Mary Jo A. (Smith) Kornbau, 85 of Red Lion passed away peacefully at Rest Haven-York on Saturday, October 29, 2022.  She was the beloved of 53 years to the late Glenn E. Kornbau who passed away on July 24, 2009.

Born July 6, 1937 in Dallastown, she was a daughter of the late Wilbur C. and Esther (Wright) Smith.

Mrs. Kornbau is fondly remembered for her wonderful sense of humor.  She loved to bring laughter to her family and friends, and even performed comedy skits on stage.  She was also a very talented cook and baker.

Mary is survived by two sons, Larry W. Kornbau and his wife, Amanda of Red Lion and Jerry S. Kornbau of Felton; two grandchildren, Trinity Kornbau and Noah Kornbau, both of Red Lion, as well as one brother, James Smith and his wife, Pam of Myrtle Beach, SC.

A funeral service to celebrate Mary's life will be held in private by her family, after which she will be laid to rest in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York.
