Melissa Sue (Peters) Deskin, 57 of Windsor Township, passed away at her residence on Thursday, November 16. She was the beloved wife of 36 years to Christopher H. Deskin.

Mrs. Deskin was born in York on March 10, 1960 and was the daughter of the late Wilbert I. and Ferne Lee (Lake) Peters.

Melissa was a 1978 graduate of Red Lion High School. She was a licensed practical nurse and worked in the nursing field for 20 years. She loved animals, especially her three dogs and cat, and feeding the birds. She was an avid reader and also loved to sketch.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two daughters, Mandy Deskin – Esbri and her husband Victor, and Bobbi LeAnn Deskin; her two granddaughters, Jade and Sage Esbri.  She is also survived by her siblings, Wilbert I. Peters, Jr. and his wife Karen, Belinda Brown, Wesley Peters and his wife Donna, and Debbie Hollar and her husband Brian.

Following cremation, all services will be private.
