Milner D. "Chub" Dise, 76 of York went to be with his Heavenly Father on Friday, March 2, 2018 at Hospice & Community Inpatient Care Center in Mt. Joy. He was the beloved husband of Mary Ann (Ruppert) Dise.
Born in Jacobus on February 26, 1942, he was the son of the late Milner and Ethel M. (Forry) Dise.
Chub was a 1960 graduate of Dallastown Area High School and a member of the Living Word Community Church. When he was younger, he played baseball, softball and later on, golf. He also worked as a painter / paper hanger. Chub's favorite pastime was doing crossword puzzles and watching his 3 grandsons play their sports.
In addition to his wife, Mary Ann, he is survived by his daughter, Tracey D. Godboldte and her husband, Jeffrey; his son, Duane E. Dise; 3 grandsons: Michael & Matthew Godbolte and Justin Dise; his sister, Connie R. Bankert; his neice, Christine Hook (and family) in North Carolina,as well as several cousins and many other loving family members.
A service to celebrate Milner's life will be held at 11am on Wednesday, March 7 th at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc.; 104 W. Main St.; Dallastown, PA with Pastor Steve Almquist officiating. A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will be from 10am until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Dallastown Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Living Word Community Church; 2530 Cape Horn Rd; Red Lion, PA 17356 or to Hospice & Community Care; 224 St. Charles Way, Suite 200; York, PA 17604.
