Nancy L. Carpenter, 91 of Dallastown, passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Jack E. Carpenter.

Mrs. Carpenter was the daughter of the late Leroy Frey and Helen Harbolt.

For most of her life Nancy was a dedicated homemaker. She later worked part time for Christ Lutheran Church in their daycare center. She enjoyed nature and watching the animals and birds. She also loved to garden and bake.

She is survived by two sons, Jack E. Carpenter, Jr. and Gary L. Carpenter. She is also survived by her grandsons, Gary Carpenter, II and Robert Carpenter, as well as her step-grandson, Brandon Huson. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Steven R. Carpenter.

A service to honor Nancy's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, October 9th at The Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown, with Pastor Patti Bream officiating.  A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Monday and will begin at 9:00 AM until the start of the service. Interment to follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
