Obituary

Nancy Gregory Perry, 87, of York, PA, went home to be with her personal Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on February 5, 2024. Born on July 22, 1936 in South Newbury, NH. Nancy was the daughter of the late Hazel and Leo Gregory.

Nancy was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Having grown up in New England, she retained her endearing New England accent and had a heartwarming personality making everyone feel like family. She accepted everyone exactly as they were welcoming them into her house and life and enjoyed making large family meals for every holiday, creating cherished memories for her loved ones.

Throughout her life, Nancy was the matriarch of Perrydell Dairy, a role she held with grace and dedication. She loved giving tours to all the school children who would visit the farm and remained active in the operation of the farm store until her passing.

Nancy was a regular at Dallastown High School sporting events, where she cheered on the teams with enthusiasm. She had a passion for sports, particularly the Philadelphia Eagles and Penn State football. Nancy also enjoyed playing volleyball, as well as ice and roller skating. Her favorite activity was loving her twelve grandchildren and telling them about Jesus.

A memorial service to celebrate Nancy's life will be held on March 16 at 1:00 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church in Dallastown, PA. Prior to the service, visitation will take place from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Christ Lutheran Church of Dallastown, the church where she was married to George 65 years ago and attended her whole adult life.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband, George Perry, and their children: Tom Perry and Donna (Ort) Perry, Greg Perry and Tammy (Howard) Perry, Judy Perry-Bowser and Chad Bowser, and Chip Perry and Lauren (Vetter) Perry. She also leaves behind 12 cherished grandchildren and her brother, Gary Gregory.

Nancy's warm and accepting nature touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her memory live on in our hearts forever.
