Obituary

Nancy Lou Sipe entered this world in Decatur Township on June 27, 1936, and peacefully departed at York Hospital, Pennsylvania, on October 23, 2024.

Nancy shared an incredible 68-year journey of love and companionship with her late husband, Ron Sipe. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose kindness left an indelible mark on everyone she knew.

The daughter of Burton and Amy Goss of Decatur Township, Nancy is survived by her sister, Joyce Davis (Goss), and her children: her devoted daughter, Ronda (Tom) Whitson, as well as her loving son, Curt Sipe, and his wife, Anne Badamo-Connors.

Nancy was a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren: Tate (Kelly) Whitson, Tim Whitson and his fiancée, Cathy Richards, Cole Sipe, Coda Connors, Jackie Connors, Kevin Connors, and Kyle Connors. She also cherished her two great-grandchildren, Anna and Sarah Whitson.

A 1954 graduate of Lewistown High School, Nancy worked in a variety of roles throughout her life, including serving as house parent at Milton Hershey School, working for the FBI in Washington, D.C., at Mary Mights Sewing, and at AMP Incorporated. Nancy brought warmth and dedication to everything she did.

Her faith was an essential part of her life, and she was an active member of Spry Church, where she touched the lives of many.
