Neil B. Blake, 88, died on Sunday, February 19 ^th at WellSpan York Hospital from covid. He was the beloved husband to Nancy E. (Gemmill) Blake.

Mr. Blake was born in Stewartstown and was the only child of the late John and Mary (Shaw) Blake.

Neil graduated from Western Maryland College. He taught American history at Kennard-Dale High School for 9 years and 37 years at West York High School. While at West York, he also coached football.

Neil was an avid stamp collector and golfer. He has won the Red Lion Country Club golf championship multiple times and has played at famous courses such as Saint Andrews and Augusta National.

He is survived by his two sons, Scott Blake, of York and John Blake, of York, as well as two grandchildren, Ian and Olivia.

Following cremation, a graveside service to celebrate Neil's life will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 24th  at Stewartstown Cemetery, 71 Cemetery Ave., Stewartstown, PA 17363.   Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:45 PM.
