Obituary

Norma J. (Grim) Fink, 95, formerly of 172 Vinmar Dr, Dallastown, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 10, 2023 at Providence Place Senior Living of Lancaster. She was the beloved wife of the late Lt. Col. Walter A. Fink, Sr. USAF, ret. The couple was married for more than 57 years until his passing in 2003.

Mrs. Fink was born on September 18, 1927 in Hopewell Township and was the daughter of the late Jacob L. and Florence E. (Aldinger) Grim of Red Lion.

Norma married right out of high school and became an Air Force wife. She traveled the world with her husband and was by his side during his entire military career, including being stationed in England, Japan, and Germany. She was a member of Eastern Star and a Red Cross volunteer. She enjoyed bowling, reading, playing golf and traveling for vacation.

She is survived by her three children, Christine "Chris" Sciangula of Lancaster, Stephanie Haines and her husband Joel, of Lexington Park, MD and Dr. W. Allen Fink and his wife Kiersten, of Reno, NV. Norma is also survived by 11 grandchildren; Karin, Aimee Lyn, Brianna, Seth, Sam, Christopher, Jacquelyn, Bryce, Valerie, Asa and Selah, as well as 14 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 9:30 – 10:30 AM on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown, with a funeral service beginning at 10:30 AM. Pastor Jay McWilliams officiating. Interment to follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
