Patricia Marie Lentz, 82, of York, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at WellSpan York Hospital. She was the beloved wife of John R. Lentz, Sr. They celebrated 65 years of marriage on February 25.

Born in York on November 27, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Anthony R. and Margie M. (Gladfelter) Wagman.

Patricia attended Red Lion Senior High School.  While she was primarily a dedicated homemaker, she also worked at Schaefer Wholesale Florist and Rick's Ace Home Center in Red Lion. Patricia cherished every opportunity to be with her loved ones and especially enjoyed attending birthday parties, cookouts, and family gatherings. She loved to garden and took great joy in growing her many beautiful flowers and also found peace and happiness sitting in her rocking chair, watching hummingbirds and other birds visit her yard.

Her caring nature and unwavering devotion to her family will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by  her children, Rhonda Sparks and her husband, Robert, Julie Mooney and her husband, Gary, John R. Lentz, Jr., and Kelly Lentz; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; as well as her sisters, Bonnie Sanford and her husband, John, and Barbara Stabley and her husband, Greg.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Natasha Jones.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 19, 2026, at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main Street, Dallastown. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
