Paul E. Hartman, 65 of Brouge passed away at home on Thursday, April 21, 2022.  He was the beloved husband of the late Cynthia K. (Setiz) Hartman who passed away on August 22, 2019.

Born January 16, 1957, he was a son of the late Clair E. and Romaine E. (Fitzkee) Hartman.

Paul loved cats and was devoted to New Freedom Animal Rescue.  He also enjoyed collecting Garfield memorabilia.  Another of his passions was photography, and he could always be spotted with a camera in hand.

Mr. Hartman is survived by 3 brothers: Larry E. Hartman and his wife, Linda of Illinois, Robert E. Hartman and his wife, Quyen of York and Richard E. Hartman and his wife, Fabian of York.  Also surviving are his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Burnell and Bonnie Seitz; 3 sisters-in-law: Pamela D. Fry and her husband, Harry of York, Patti A. Gingerich and her husband, Kenneth of West York and Susan Seitz of Red Lion, as well as many loving nieces, nephews and other extended family.

In addition to his wife and parents, Paul was preceded in death by his brother, Donald E. Hartman and his wife, Althea, as well as his brother-in-law, Timothy M. Seitz.

A memorial service to celebrate Paul's life will be held on Thursday, April 28 ^th at 11am at Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home; 104 W. Main St. in Dallastown with Rev. Kevin Becker officiating. Interment will follow in Highmount Cemetery in Hellam Township, York.  A time to share memories and gather with the family will also be on Thursday from 10am until the start of the service at the funeral home.
