Peggy Lee (Bingaman) Overmiller, 77, of West Manchester Township, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at WellSpan York Hospital. She was the devoted wife of Robert E. Overmiller, with whom she shared 56 years of marriage.

Born on September 2, 1948, in Sunbury, PA, Peggy was the daughter of the late Fred N. and Arlene (Machesic) Bingaman.

Peggy worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for many years before later becoming a teacher at a Christian elementary school. Her faith was an important part of who she was, and she was a devoted member of Connection Christian Church. Peggy was an avid knitter and also enjoyed spending time in the mountains. Above all, family was the center of her life. She treasured the time she spent with those she loved, especially her grandchildren, who brought her tremendous joy.

In addition to her husband, Robert, Peggy is survived by her two daughters, Angelene A. Stonesifer and her husband, Brad, and Kristi N. Santiago and her husband, Richard; her grandchildren, Jayden Stonesifer, Chance West, and Franki Santiago; and her sister, Connie Spera.

A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 2, at Connection Christian Church, 2901 Pleasant Valley Road, York, PA 17402, with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM. Pastor Dennis Ray will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Paul's Lebanon Lutheran Church Cemetery.
