Randall P. Floyd, 78 of Dallastown, passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. He was the beloved husband to Marian S. (Linburg) Floyd. The couple would have celebrated 59 years of marriage this February.

Mr. Floyd was born in Spry and was the son of the late William H. and Edna Mae (Winters) Floyd.

Randall was a 1963 graduate of Dallastown High School. He worked as a tool and die maker and retired from General Dynamics. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved deer and turkey hunting. Randall also enjoyed racing and fixing cars. He worked several years on restoring his 67 Dodge Dart, and completed it on his 60th birthday. Something he was quite proud of. He was also a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Dallastown.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two children, Natalie Thompson and Scott Floyd and his significant other, Carol Henry. He is also survived by his grandson, Zachary Thompson; two great grandchildren; sister, Janice Albright; brothers, Steven Floyd, and Jeffrey Floyd, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by a brother, William Floyd.

A viewing will take place on Monday, October 9th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, 104 W. Main St., Dallastown. Then again at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 10th from noon – 1:00 PM, with a funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM. Pastor Patti Bream officiating. Interment will follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
